Privacy statement
- There are laws that protect the privacy of your personal information.
We hold and from time to time collect personal information from Multinet
customers (usually from your retailer) such as your name and address
and details of your premises to which gas is supplied.
- Multinet does not sell or give customer lists containing personal
information to other persons or organisations outside Mutinet, and Alinta
Network Services Pty Ltd, who Multinet has contracted to be responsible
for the construction, operation and maintenance of its gas distribution
network, servicing Melbourne's east.
- We will only disclose your personal information:
- on a confidential basis, for the purposes only of Multinet's business,
to our agents, contractors or third party service providers that
provide gas supply or other services. For example, your personal
information (such as your name and address) may be provided to Mutinet's
meter reading or gas installation contractors
- where the law requires Multinet to do so
- if you consent.

- If you wish to complain about a breach of privacy, you can do so at
any time by writing to the address above.
- Multinet will respond to any such complaint as soon as reasonably possible,
and in any event will acknowledge it within 14 days.
- Multinet will use all reasonable endeavours to investigate all such
complaints and take such action as is necessary to resolve them, having
regard to its obligations under the National Privacy Principles.
- When you browse www.multinetgas.com.au you browse anonymously. Personal
information - such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail
address - is not collected as you browse. Multinet does not use "cookies" to
collect statistical information on website usage.
