Full Retail Contestability Charges

The Victorian government has implemented a phased opening of both the electricity and gas markets to retail competition. Full retail competition (FRC) for gas customers commenced on 26 October 2002. In order to facilitate a contestable market, it was necessary for Multinet to develop information technology systems. The tables below show the approved FRC tariffs determined by the Commission for the period from 1 January 2007 based on the expenditure approved by the Commission for Multinet as being recoverable. Also listed are the recommended Special Meter Read tariffs for the period from 1 January 2007.
